For universities, engineering schools and their instructors

Run your courses and student labs on one platform.

Courses, TPs, exams and student labs in one place. Every student works on their own real machines in the browser, whatever the technology (systems, networks, cloud, DevOps, security, databases…), every task is graded automatically, and you follow the whole class (marks, attendance, who is stuck) from one dashboard, with exports for Moodle and Apogée.

  • A lab per student
  • Courses, TPs and exams
  • Moodle / Apogée export

The problem

Teaching IT hands-on today

Rooms and machines

A lab room, images to rebuild every year, broken VMs on the morning of the TP.

Copied answers

One student does the work, the group hands in the same screenshots. And now ChatGPT.

Hours of marking

Checking 120 reports by hand, late at night, for each TP of the year.

No view of who is stuck

You discover who never started at the end of the semester.

How it works

How it works

  1. 01

    Send your course plan

Your courses, TPs and exams with their opening dates and deadlines for the year. We use our labs or build yours from your subjects.

  2. 02

    Add your students

Paste the list with student numbers and TP groups, or give them the course join code.

  3. 03

    Students do the TPs

Each one starts their own machine, reads their personal values, checks their work and hands in.

  4. 04

    You follow and mark

The gradebook fills itself: mark per TP, time spent, late work, who is stuck. Export for Moodle or Apogée.

In the platform

Everything the instructor needs

Gradebook

Students × TPs: mark out of 20, status, attempts, time spent, class average and averages per TP.

Students at risk

Missed TPs, not started with the deadline close, average below the pass mark, attendance under 70%.

TP plan and calendar

Opening and deadline of each TP, per group; everyone sees them in their calendar and in Google Calendar or Outlook.

Attendance

Students sign each class session from their account; the instructor corrects and exports the sheet.

Exports

Marks CSV, Moodle import file, and a PDF report per student with each task and the attendance.

Messages

Announcements to a course, questions from students to their instructors, by email too.

Integrity

Built against copying and AI answers

Nothing can stop a student from opening ChatGPT on their phone. LabXenon makes copying useless and the real work visible.

A different machine for each student

Each student gets their own users, ports, folders and data. A classmate's answer, or a generic AI answer, fails the checks on their machine.

The result is checked on the machine

There is no answer to type into a box: the work must be done on the student's own system.

What the student did

Commands typed, pastes and tab changes during graded TPs, shown to the instructor as facts, never as a verdict.

Very similar work flagged

Pairs of students with almost the same commands are listed for the instructor to review.

A 3-minute oral check

Each student's report proposes questions about their own commands, to confirm they understood.

Exam mode

One attempt, a time window, hints off, the machine deleted on hand-in.

For everyone

For everyone in the school

  • Students

Their TPs, deadlines and marks in one place, a calendar, and a way to ask the instructor.

  • Instructors

The class at a glance, marks without manual correction, attendance and exports.

  • Heads of department

Every course and every group, the same evidence for continuous assessment, under one contract.

Your data stays yours

Every school is a separate organization: nobody outside it can see its courses, students or messages. Student data is kept for the retention period the school chooses, then erased. Labs run on servers in Europe; a dedicated server or your own cloud region is available.

Yes. Send them with the plan: we build each lab with automatic checks, in French or English, before its opening date.
